Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and C2 MEDIA & TECH LAB LTDA, registered under CNPJ 43.343.467/0001-47, with registered office at R. Frei Caneca, 461, Apt 84, Consolação, São Paulo/SP, CEP 01.307-001 ("we", "us", or "FluencyCraft"). By creating an account or using FluencyCraft, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The Service

FluencyCraft is an English vocabulary learning platform that provides custom word lists, flashcard practice, AI-generated definitions and hints, pronunciation assessment, and related progress-tracking features. Features and availability may evolve over time.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use FluencyCraft. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to create an account. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at contact@fluencycraft.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You may close your account at any time from your settings.

Acceptable Use

When using FluencyCraft, please agree to:

  • Use the service only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects other users.
  • Avoid attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service beyond what's permitted by law.
  • Not share your account, resell access, or use the service to build a competing product.
  • Not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on someone else's rights.

Subscriptions and Billing

FluencyCraft offers a free plan with no time limit and paid plans (Pro and Max) billed on a recurring basis. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from your billing page in a single click. You will keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period, after which your account will smoothly return to the free plan. See the Refunds section below for details.

Refunds

Try before you subscribe

FluencyCraft has a free plan with no time limit and no credit card required. Use it for as long as you want, we will never ask you to upgrade to keep learning.

Cancel anytime

Changed your mind? Cancel from your billing page in one click. You keep all paid features until the end of your current billing period, then your account smoothly returns to the free plan with all your lists preserved.

14-day refund

You can request a refund of any subscription charge within 14 days of the charge. Email contact@fluencycraft.com from the address on your account and we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.

Intellectual Property

FluencyCraft, including its design, code, branding, and curated content, is owned by C2 MEDIA & TECH LAB LTDA and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the vocabulary lists and notes you create; by using the service, you grant us a limited license to store and display them so we can deliver the service to you.

Termination

You may stop using FluencyCraft and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these Terms, after notice where reasonable.

Disclaimers

FluencyCraft is provided "as is" and "as available". AI-generated definitions, hints, and pronunciation scores are intended as learning aids and may contain inaccuracies; we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or exam results. You should confirm important information with authoritative sources.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, C2 MEDIA & TECH LAB LTDA and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, where C2 MEDIA & TECH LAB LTDA is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local consumer protection law provides otherwise.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or improvements in clarity. If changes are material, we'll notify you by email or in-app before they take effect. Continuing to use FluencyCraft after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
